Plushie Parade

Mixer & Turntable ~ a Kidult Creation

Our friend Paul is a DJ.  His life’s passions are music, DJ equipment & collectable toys (figurines).  For his birthday, I made plushies of his mixer & (one) turntable. :-)

Marshman ~ a Kidult creation

The adorable Marshman (AKA #2) plushie – a Kidult representative, friend of Big Boy (#1) & Bunnee (#3) & co-star in “Adventures in Kidultland” – a short, 3D-animated clip Jean & I made when we first got together.  Marshman is part of our history. :-) He is one of a kind; I will never make another.

Plushpuppie ~ Stuffed with Love

Plushpuppie now has new friends – 6 new plushpuppies!  – yay!  :-)

Fabric:  Designers Guild, hearts:  red felt.

Each one is unique, one of a kind, hand embroidered.  They are Stuffed with Love, literally.

They are 19cm (7.4″) tall from head to toe; 26cm (10.2″) tall from tip of top ear to toe.

To buy one – for yourself, or as a ridiculously awesome gift for someone special  :-)

Rhinoplushie ~ Stuffed with Love

He’s a little bit scrappy, fiercely friendly when you get to know him, loves to hang out in the African sun.  Here he is chilling amongst the flowers.  Isn’t he cute?

Trees ~ Stuffed with Love

From the Stuffed with Love series:  “Trees” ~ a fabric forest, leafy, plushie gorgeousness, each uniquely individual just like the real thing but small & soft.

They are 20cm (7.87″) tall from base to top branch tip.  The brown & white-patterned trees are made from traditional  Shweshwe fabric, Da Gama (more about that later) and the others from a kind of satin from Home Fabrics.  The leaves are Designers Guild fabric, backed with red felt – they look really pretty backlit:  the red edges glow!  Each leaf is positioned with care for maximum sprightliness and hand embroidered onto it’s puffy, plushie branch.   :-)
